Bonney Lake Public Works crews are working on the parking areas for Allan Yorke Park and the boat launch in preparation for what is expected to be another sunny weekend at Lake Tapps.

Crews are painting lines for parking spaces and directional markings. In addition, the City will post parking attendants this weekend between 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. After this weekend, staff will review how the parking plan is working and see if any adjustments need to be made.

Some things for visitors to be aware of with the parking plan:

• Boat trailers only may park in the “Ball Field 4”  parking lot at 19500 Bonney Lake Blvd.

• Vehicles must park between the yellow lines only. Parking in other areas may result in ticketing and towing.

• An overflow parking lot is available for boat trailers and passenger vehicles at the Moriarty Property (southeast of the park on W Tapps Hwy E).

• Vehicles need to move forward to the end of the parking lane so others can park behind them.
