It may be wet and rainy in the lowlands, but the storm moving through this week means snow in the mountains.
And snow in the mountains means an early opening at Crystal Mountain, who announced Monday that the resort will open for limited operations Wednesday.
According to the resort’s Facebook page, the resort received 30 inches of snow over the weekend and more is expected through the week as storms pass through the region.
Not all areas of the resort will be open Wednesday, but officials said the Gondola, Green Valley and Rainier Express lifts are expected to be running.
Hours will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
