The big night is finally here for Pierce County’s 23 Daffodil Princesses as one of them will be crowned the 2011 Queen of the Daffodil Festival this Friday in Tacoma.

Scholarships will awarded to all of the girls during the ceremony.

This year, Bonney Lake High School is represented by Peyton Jensen while Makel Ortiz is the Sumner High School Princess.

Tickets for the event are $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. The Cornoation ceremnoy will take place at 7 p.m. Friday at the Church for All Nations, 111 112th St. E, Tacoma.

The 78th Annual Grand Floral Parades are scheduled for April 9.
