The Bonney Lake Design Commission will meet at 6 p.m. today, Wednesday, to discuss the new medical building proposed for a 4.72-acre parcel in the rezoned WSU Demonstration Forest.

Plans call for a three-story, 54,400-square-foot building to be built in the first phase of the project with a second 40,000-square-foot building to be built in a second phase.

According to Planning Manager Heather Stinson, the building is already completely leased.

The design commission will meet to discuss the exterior of the building, which is to be constructed primarily of brick and glass.

The meeting is open to the public.
