Rainier Foothills Wellness Foundation, in partnership with the Enumclaw Police Department, will host its fourth “Prescription Take Back” event April 30.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Enumclaw Police Department, 1705 Wells St.

This event provides an opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs. The public is invited to deliver pills for disposal to the police station. Liquids, needles or sharps cannot be accepted – only pills and patches. The service is free and anonymous, with no questions asked.

It was the 10th NTBI event since September 2010; cumulatively, these events have collected 5,525,021 pounds of drugs.
