Enumclaw High’s girls and boys golf teams kept their records clean with commanding league wins over Decatur and Lakes.
Tyler Salsbury led the Hornets with back-to-back medalist honors during an 85-60 win over Decatur at Twin lakes Country Club Sept. 14 and a 106-58 victory over Lakes Thursday.
At Twin Lakes, Salsbury finished at 1-under par 36, an EHS individual course record.Teammate Tim Livermore was right behind at 39.
Thursday, Salsbury shot a 2-under par 33 at Enumclaw. Colton McCluskey was one-stroke behind at 34. Livermore, Chase Dolliver and Kurt Kindsvater each carded a 36.
The Lady Hornets kept their streak alive with a 159-121 win over Decatur and a 133-65 win over Lakes.
Against Decatur, at home, Kelly Sweeney and Tiffany Wilkening had matching 42-stroke performances. Janie Fancis and Kaylin Podolak finished two strokes behind.
Thursday, Sweeney earned medalist honors with 42 at Oakbrook Golf and Country Club. Wilkening followed four strokes behind.
The Hornets continue league play Thursday with Peninsula. The girls are at Canterwood Golf and Country Club. The boys are home.
