Eighth grade students and their families are invited to a high school showcase tonight at the Bonney Lake High School campus.

The showcase serves to introduce outgoing middle school students to the curriculum and activities available in high school.

“These evening programs offer a unique opportunity to better understand students’ choices for classes at Bonney Lake and Sumner high schools, including graduation requirements, academic offerings, electives, extracurricular activities and athletics,” read the event information for the showcase on the Sumner School District online bulletin board. “Information about high school attendance boundaries and bus transportation routes will be available.

The showcase will run from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and orientation sessions for parents of the class of 2017 will be held at 6 and 6:45 p.m. Topics covered will include honors courses, Advanced Placement and core classes.

Bonney Lake High School is located at 10920 199th Avenue Court East.
