Witnesses heard explosions before first responders arrived, but don’t appear to be connected to the fire

A fire on James Street drew a small crowd last night, drawn to the scene by numerous fire and police vehicles and earlier explosions.

According to the Pulse Point medical and fire alert app, the call for assistance went out at 8:52 p.m. on Feb. 19, and was cleared at 11:12 p.m.
