Dec. 16
– Officers removed a subject sleeping in the baseball dugout at the Expo Center around 3:45 p.m. Staff were instructed to call again if the subject returns.
Dec. 17
– Around 12:30 a.m., officers were called to Jewell Street regarding a subject that police had just removed had returned. Officers called the subject by phone and cleared the issue.
– Officers were dispatched to Expressions at Enumclaw around 10:45 a.m. in regards to a possible burglary. There was no sign of forced or unlawful entry.
– Officers responded to reports of a swerving vehicle on Griffin Avenue and Roosevelt Avenue around 4:30 p.m. Officers located the vehicle and spoke to the driver, finding no signs on impairment.
– Officers received reports of a vehicle driving too slow on Roosevelt Avenue and Semanski Street around 8 p.m. Officers located the car and found it was suffering from mechanical issues.
Dec. 18
– A burglary alarm went off on Washington Avenue, leading officers to arresting one female subject around 1 a.m.
– Officers responded to a report of a fight outside Seeders around 1:30 a.m. All subjects had left when officers arrived.
– While on foot on Roosevelt Avenue around 8:45 a.m., officers contacted three subjects, two of whom had misdemeanor warrants. They were advised of their options and released at the scene.
– The NAPA Auto Parts store reported a shoplift to officers around noon; the business was able to retrieve the stolen goods before the subject drove away.
– Officers were alerted to a possible DUI on Roosevelt Avenue and Semanski Street around 7:45 p.m. Officers located the vehicle and arrested the driver.
– Officers responded to a possible fight behind the QFC around 9:30 p.m. Officers contacted two subjects, and the scene was cleared.
– An Alpine Place resident called police around 10:45 p.m. claiming their neighbor was bothering them with a laser pointer. Officers spoke to the neighbor, who denied doing anything.
– Officers were dispatched to the Masonic Lodge around 11:15 p.m. regarding loud music; subjects inside agreed to turn it down.
– Officers were again dispatched to the Masonic Lodge, this time around midnight, regarding a fight. Aid was called, but no victim was identified at the scene.
Dec. 19
– A traffic stop on Garrett Street around noon resulted in the driver being warned for driving with a suspended license.
– Officers received an open-line 911 call on Warner Avenue around 8:30 p.m., hearing a subject call for help. Officers were unable to locate anyone in the area when they arrived.
– Enumclaw police assisted officers in Buckley around 9:30 p.m., who were searching for a subject with three felony warrants.
Dec. 20
– Officers responded to a 10 a.m. report of a suspicious person on Cole Street and Michael Avenue who seemed to be in possession of multiple bikes. Officers contacted the subject and advised him of his warrant; the man moved along.
– Officers came across a possible house fire on 276th Avenue SE around noon. However, it was just a large outdoor burn that was already extinguished.
Dec. 21
– Officers fielded a complaint about a fake accordion player performing outside the QFC around 10:45 a.m.; the performer agreed to move along.
– Officers responded to a report of a man in the middle on Washington Avenue and Garrett Street throwing objects at passing cars around 1 p.m. Officers contacted the man, who agreed to leave the area.
Dec. 22
– Officers assisted Black Diamond police around 4:15 p.m. regarding a possible domestic violence incident with a barricaded subject on Morgan Drive. The subject was eventually arrested for domestic violence and another warrant.
– Officers were called to the Tractor Supple parking lot around 12:30 p.m. regarding found drugs; officers were unable to locate any illegal substances or paraphernalia.
– Officers were dispatched to Lowell Place around 3:30 p.m. in regard to a domestic incident in progress. One subject was arrested on a warrant and booked into the Enumclaw jail.
– Another theft from the NAPA Auto Parts store around 4:15 p.m. resulted in officers taking a report with a possible subject having been identified.
BLACK DIAMOND
Dec. 13
– Officers were alerted by the city’s public works department around noon that a dump truck traveling SR 169 was an unsecured load that was dropping on the roadway. Officers were able to locate the truck and identified the company that owns it. The company contacted public works to reimburse the cost for cleanup.
Dec. 14
– Officers were dispatched to 3rd Avenue around 3 p.m. regarding malicious mischief; it appears an unknown vehicle drove through a nearby field and damaged the grass.
– Officers were alerted to a theft off 3rd Avenue around 3:30 p.m.; two radiators and two gas cans were taken.
Dec. 15
– Officers were flagged down by a citizen around 7:30 a.m. who advised them of a one-car collision with an elk on Enumclaw Black Diamond Road. Officers checked the area and found the animal dead in the roadway, though it was too heavy for officers to remove. State Patrol eventually arrived and assisted officers in towing the animal away.
– Officers received a report of a suspicious vehicle cruising Crystal Avenue SE around 10:30 p.m. The reporting party believed the occupants of the vehicle were looking for packages to steal.
Dec. 16
– Officers were dispatched to a SE 290th Street residence regarding a court order violation around 10:30 a.m. Criminal charges were filed and forwarded to the prosecutor.
Dec. 19
– Enumclaw police requested backup from Black Diamond officers around 12:45 a.m. regarding a fight in progress. Upon arrival, subjects were treated by fire personnel and officers cleared the scene.
