Goats in the street, a suspect crawling into an abandoned home, and a crypto currency fraud.

ENUMCLAW

March 17

– Officers spied a suspicious individual on 284th Avenue SE around 3 p.m. The subject was uncooperative, and ran into a nearby residence.

March 18

– Officers were dispatched to Anderson Excavating due to a suspicious persons report around 8 p.m. Police came across the subject at Enumclaw Plateau Heated Storage; two fled, and one was arrested on warrants. Two vehicles were impounded, and an unreported stolen license plate was recovered from one of the cars.

March 19

– Enumclaw police aided the Black Diamond PD around 8:30 a.m. regarding an open-line 911 call from a Third Avenue address with sounds of a disturbance in the background. Officers made contact and the situation was settled.

March 20

– A 12:30 a.m. traffic stop on Initial Avenue and Porter Street led to a DUI arrest.

– Officers were dispatched to First Street around 7 a.m. and arrested a subject on suspect of two counts of assault.

– Police received a report of a vehicle stolen off Shanon Lane the previous night. The car was located March 22 in Sumner, with a front license plate missing. One arrest was made, and the license plate later found in the trunk of the car.

– Officers assisted Black Diamond police in looking for a missing person on Park Street around 11 a.m. They went to the known address of the subject, but were not able to make contact.

– Police were called to Chinook Avenue to a court order violation call around 11:45 a.m. The reporting party showed officers a video of his wife at his front door; the woman was arrested and booked.

March 21

– Officers attended to two goats in the road at the intersection of 244th Avenue SE and Wetherbee Lane around 2:30 p.m. The animals were returned to their owners.

– Police were dispatched to Marshall Avenue and Fell Street to a hit and run report around 3:30 p.m. A suspect was located.

March 22

– A trailer was reported stolen from Roosevelt Avenue around 10 a.m. Pierce County deputies found the trailer the same day.

– Officers received an anonymous call around 4:30 p.m. that a stolen truck was heading to the Safeway. Prior to arrival, a second call diverted officers to Hogan Drive. Police spotted the truck, which fled in the oncoming traffic lane; officers did not pursue.

– Police responded to a Franklin Street residential burglary would 9:15 a.m. A real estate sign was stolen.

March 24

– A traffic stop on SR 410 and 244th Avenue SE around 2 a.m. led to a DUI arrest.

– Officers received a report of a possible burglar in their Alpine Place home around 6:15 a.m. Turns out, the husband had not yet left for work.

– Officers witnessed a subject crawling into an abandoned home on Wells Street around 8 a.m. The subject was arrested on a felony warrant and booked.

BLACK DIAMOND

March 15

– Officers and EMS were called to Holly Avenue for a potential overdose around 5 p.m. Upon arrival, it was determined the subject did not need to be transported to a hospital — they just had too much alcohol.

March 16

– Police were contacted by a female around 10:30 a.m. who reported having $63,000 in credit stolen from her bank accounts into a fraudulent account. It appears the money was then transferred to a crypto currency site. Officers are performing an investigation.

March 17

– Officers were dispatched to Cedarbrook Mobile Home Park regarding a car theft. The reporting part told officers she parked the car just south of her home and locked it, but it’s now missing.

– Around 10:30 a.m., a local citizen told officers he wanted to surrender two firearms that he no longer wanted to own. The firearms were taken for destruction.

March 20

– Officers were dispatched to Buckley concerning a missing person. While searching, the missing person contacted the reporting party, and the search was cancelled.
