Girls Tennis won league championships 10-0 in the last two years. And there are three doubles teams advancing to district tournament.

Attention senior NHS members. Your last chance to turn in hours and be recognized as NHS members at graduation is this week. We must receive verification by Friday, May 10. No exceptions. A list of students who have not turned in hours is available in room 211. Please stop by if you are uncertain. There are currently 40 seniors who will be taken off the NHS list unless we hear from you by Friday. Thank you.

The girls Water Polo Team hosts Puyallup TONIGHT at the Enumclaw Pool. Come and cheer on the girls as they play their last home game of the season, and prepare for next week’s State Tournament.

EHS Senior Culminating Projects Exhibition Night is Wednesday, May 22 from 6:00 to 8:00PM on campus.
Attention all Seniors. If you need to send an 8th semester transcript at the end of the year to a college you have been accepted to, please sign up in the Counseling Office. These will be mailed out after grades have been finalized.
Senior Ball is Saturday June 1 from 7:00 to 11:30 at Shilshoe Beach Club in Seattle. Price: TBD
Senior Awards will be on Tuesday, June 4 from 6:30 to 9:00PM in the auditorium. Parents are invited.
Graduation Tickets will be available & extras on sale beginning June 3 through June 6 during both lunches in the commons on stage and after school in the cashiers office. Reminder – only the graduating senior may pick the tickets up & purchase them. 10 free tickets & $3.00 for each extra.
At the same time that you pick-up your tickets you will be asked to sign-up with a walking partner for graduation. (Running Start students may pick up their tickets from the cashier.)

The Streetmasters Annual Rain or Shine Car Show and Car Bash is Friday, May 17. There are prizes and awards for the vehicles that get the most votes in each category. The categories are listed on the entry form that is available in the auto shop. Staff, you too can enter your vehicles. The entry fee is $10 per vehicles or $12 at the gate, so get your entry in now. Thanks for supporting the Streetmasters Club.

The Enumclaw High School Girls Water Polo Team beat Kentridge 12-5 in a league game on Friday, May 3. The Hornets finish league play in second place in the East Division and earn an automatic berth at the State tournament, held May 15-18. The Hornets finish 7-3 in league play, and are 10-9 overall.

Green River Community College – Open House and Resource Fair

Native American /Alaskan Native Club meets monthly with no fees to participate. The group will learn leadership skills and participate in cultural events. If you have questions please see Cathy in the Counseling Center.
Spanish Club is a group that celebrates Hispanic and Latino culture and practices the use of the Spanish language. The club is organized and ran by student leaders in the University of Washington Spanish class. Spanish club meets once a month in Profa. Stewart’s room 141 from 2:45-3:45. Each month we learn and celebrate a topic related to Hispanic and/or Latino Heritage. This is great place to meet friends, earn culture credit points, and have a good time. Membership dues are $5.00 per semester. 2012/2013 date: 5/9.

The Enumclaw Clothing Bank: We are open every Tuesday from 10am-6pm. (closed on school closures and holidays) We are located at the JJ Smith building on Fell St. in the old library. Sheila Smith 360-829-6605
The Clothing Bank has helped over 700 people so far this school year. The bank will be open through the end of May. They are currently in need of new socks and underwear as well as any new or used clothing items sizes baby through adult as they restock for “back to school”.
YoungLife is on Monday nights at 7:37PM in Senior Locker Bay. All students are welcome.
