EHS Fastpich Teams will be honoring their seniors this Monday. Yes, it’s SENIOR NIGHT- so please come out and support our teams and thank our seniors for 4 great years of fastpitch. MONDAY: APRIL 30 @ 7:00 vs White River
And now a message from the Library…today English classes overdue notices will be given out for all books due September through December. Please return or renew all of your overdue books.

The last Credit Retrieval session before Graduation starts next Monday, April 30th. Space is limited, see Ramona Bray in the Main Office for payment and registration.
After school math tutoring will not be available today after school. It will resume next Tuesday.
The District Art Show is on Friday, May 11th from 4:00 – 8:00 pm. Entries are now being accepted and are due on Tuesday, May 1st. Please stop by Ms. Weber’s room #1031 for an entry form.
The All-District Choral Festival is on Tuesday and Wednesday May 1st and 2nd and begins at 7pm in the HS Auditorium. Cost is $4.00 per person and highlights grades 6-12.
The High School Chorale participated in the Green River Music Region’s training choir contest yesterday and earned a Superior Rating and showed that they are one of the top choirs in the region. Congratulations to all of the students involved.
Information in Review:
Attention Juniors: The SAT Prep Course will begin on Tuesday, May 8 here at EHS. The course will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the month of May leading up to the SAT Test on Saturday, June 2nd. To register for the course, bring a check for the $100 course fee to Ramona in the main office and pick up the information flyer. If you have any questions, stop in and see Mr. Milat or Mr. Bruggeman. And please remember, regardless of whether you take the course or not, anyone taking the SAT on June 2nd must register for the SAT as soon as possible online at www.collegeboard.com to reserve a seat.
Applications for next year’s varsity cheer Team are available now. Pick yours up in the Athletic Office and get ready to join next year’s team. Applications are due back by Friday, April 27th. GO HORNETS!
Next Wednesday, May 2nd is Mr. EHS at 7:00PM in the commons. It is $3.00 to get in. Come support your senior class.
Do you have old automotive batteries that you need to get rid of? The Streetmasters’ Club needs to purchase four new batteries for their electric race car. These batteries cost $170 dollars each. Interstate Battery has offered to donate these batteries and all they ask for is that we run a collection drive for used batteries. Can you help us out? Please drop them off at the automotive shop, building 1033. Have a lot of them. We will pick them up. Thanks in advance for your support. Also, see you at the Car Show on June 1. More on that to follow.
Don’t understand? Why not let other students help you understand your homework assignments? We have after-school tutoring in the Library on Mondays and Wednesdays each week from 2:30 to 3:30PM.
After school math tutoring is available for any students who need a little extra help with homework or preparing for tests. Tutoring is held Tuesday in portable 10 and Thursday in room 211 from 2:40 to 3:30. Drop in for all or just part of the time to get your math questions answered. Hope to see you there.

Finally: All dues for the 2011-2012 school year must be in by Monday, April 30. Unpaid dues will appear on your fine list after that date.
Enumclaw FFA just finished exhibiting and selling their livestock animals at the Northwest Junior Livestock Show in Puyallup this past weekend. We had several class and overall champions including: Arlyn Wolanski, Levi Norton, Elliot Robbles, Samantha Lanting, Nathaniel Nelson, Rebecca Blake and John Lanting. We also received numerous awards for herdsmanship, outstanding record books, and John Lanting was the recipient this year for the Walt Bergman Award- a leadership and showmanship accolade. 13 students in all rasied over $14,000 from their projects. Think you might be interested in some of that money? Talk to an FFA member about how to get involved for next year!
High school students are prohibited from being on the Enumclaw Middle School campus before, during or after school hours without permission. High school students are considered visitors to the middle school and must follow check-in procedures. Failure to do so may result in discipline.
The Enumclaw School District Board of Directors is currently seeking a “next year” junior to serve as student representative along with Conner Wells, who will serve as senior representative, on the school board during the 2012-13 school year. Applications are currently available in the Activities Office and will need to be completed and returned by May 11, 2012.

Each day through June 8th, Mr. Nelson would like one or more 2012 graduates to be featured on the district website as we “Countdown to Commencement”. There is a short form available in the Activities Office to be completed by the graduate. Please return your completed form to the Activities Office. A picture of the graduate will be posted on the website along with the information from the form. We would be pleased to have ALL the 2012 grads featured!

National Honor Society students. Need Service Hours? If there’s a subject you’re good at or even a topic in a subject that you’re good at, we need you to be a peer tutor during CORE time. Each
week you tutor equals 1 hour of community service time. If you’re interested in being a tutor, see Mrs. Weinbrecht in room 210.
The Native American Club is an opportunity for students to participate in leadership and cultural activities. The group will meet on the first Tuesday of the month in the counseling offices. There are no fees to participate in the club. Club participation is a great opportunity to learn about Tribal leadership.
Weight Club meets Mon-Tues-Thurs at 3-4:30. See Mr. Gutierrez for T-shirt after you sign up or Mr. Bartel for schedule.
Need something fun to do on Monday nights? Young Life is the answer. Come join us in the senior locker bay at 7:37PM.

Enumclaw School District Clothing Bank Need clothes? We have them for free. The clothing bank is located at JJ Smith School 1640 Fell Street.
We are here to help you out. We have gently used donated clothes and shoes! . Hours are Tuesdays 10 am – 6 pm. We are open whenever school is in session. Sheila 253-740-1367

We have added a team competition to this years race. Sign up 5 or more runners to make a team. Top 5 fastest times count for you team. Awards for top 3 teams.
