A former Enumclaw High and Green River Community College journalism student is continuing his climb into the professional world as the McCormick Foundation Publications Fellow at the Student Press Law Center just outside Washington, D.C.

Brian Schraum serves as managing editor of the SPLC’s website and magazine, which focus on legal issues affecting student journalists. Schraum received his associate in arts from GRCC in 2006, graduated from Washington State University and recently earned a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
