SHOPPING SPREE: A group of males were seen around 6:39 p.m. on Dec. 17 pushing shopping carts into the middle of a Roosevelt Street parking lot. An officer responded and cleared away the group.

YOU’RE HERE?: A hospital patient advised staff that there was a court order in place against another patient. Shortly after 7 p.m. on Dec 17, an officer made contact with both parties and determined that both parties would stay at the hospital for the time being, unless a problem arose.

ELECTRICAL HAZARD: Power lines fell across Cole Street during the evening of Dec. 17. Officers blocked off the roadway with police tape, from 7:24 p.m. to 8 p.m., until Puget Sound Energy workers arrived. Similar wind-related incidents occurred the afternoon of Dec. 18, one in the same location and another at the intersection of Porter Street and McHugh Avenue in which a fallen tree had brought down the lines.

ROLLING HAZARD: At 11:44 a.m. Dec. 18, a Harmony Lane resident advised that a neighbor’s vehicle had rolled out of a driveway and into the middle of the street. The vehicle was locked, no one was home and the reporting person could not push the vehicle back into the driveway.

A responding officer summoned a tow truck and the vehicle was impounded until the owners could respond.

MONEYLESS STASH: At 2:11 p.m. Dec. 18 a Pioneer Street resident reported finding a cash box and four wallets in her front yard. An officer responded, finding the items to be empty. They were brought back to the station to be tagged and placed as missing property.

SYLVESTER AND TWEETY ABDUCTION: At 2:50 p.m. Dec. 18, an officer responded to a burglarized hotel room. A cat, a bird and a tablecloth were all missing from the room, which had sustained minor damage. The officer listed a woman, who had been picked up earlier that day for malicious mischief, at a room in the same hotel, as a possible suspect.

NO FIGHT, BUT POSSIBLE DOPE: An officer was sent to locate a possible fight on 244th Avenue Southeast shortly after midnight on Dec. 19. Two subjects were found, but no fight. One of the subjects was taken into custody for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The subject was transported to the Enumclaw Police Department for booking; the second subject was given a courtesy transport home.

BURGLARY: A burglary took place at a Farrelly Street address sometime during the night before Dec. 21. When an officer responded at 8:26 a.m., he determined a broken window on the east side of the main building was a possible point of entry. However, it was determined that no property was stolen.

THREAT: An officer was called to Natalie Place at 1 p.m. Dec. 21 when a caller reported that a family member was out of control and threatening to harm himself. She thought he may have left the area to find a gun and carry out the threat. An area check by the officer turned up nothing and the man’s mother stated she would call if he returned home.
