Enumclaw police blotter | June 8 – 22

June 8

– At about 10:30 a.m., there was a fight between two individuals on Farman St N Subjects separated and went their separate ways.

– At about 12 p.m., a phone and money were stolen from “La Esquina.”

– An individual at about 12:20 p.m. caused a public disturbance downtown and walked to the Police Department. They were unable to arrest on warrant due to booking restrictions. The individual agreed to wait for the recovery program coordinator.

– Citizen assist at about 1:15 p.m. Officers responded to a call about a mother’s troubles with her adult son. The officer provided options and introduced her to the recovery navigator team.

– At about 2:45 p.m., a complaint was received about a solicitor going door to door selling stain remover. Nobody was found during an area check.

– At about 2:55 p.m., a medical facility requested a welfare check on a patient who had missed two appointments. There was no response at the residence on Grand Fir Dr, and officers could not contact family members.

– At about 3:06 p.m., an unwanted subject was sleeping at The Lee Restaurant but when officers arrived individual was gone.

– At about 3:12 p.m., a subject from an earlier complaint went to QFC to steal alcohol. The store did not want to press charges but did want the individual trespassed. The individual was put in contact with Recovery Navigator Program.

– At about 6:12 p.m., there were numerous nuisance 911 calls from a known individual. No emergency.

– At about 7:16 p.m., there was a welfare check/trespass on an unknown subject lying in a resident’s backyard.

June 9

– At about 6:34 a.m., officers met with Bellevue Police Department to take custody of an individual with an Enumclaw warrant.

– At about 7 a.m., an unwanted subject was asked to be removed from QFC. Upon contact, the individual was taken into custody and transported to Enumclaw jail to be booked for a warrant.

– At about 4:39 p.m., Dominos Pizza alerted their building manager that their power was shut off, and they believed someone may have intentionally done it. No problems were found.

– At about 4:46, officers responded to someone worried about their friend making suicidal comments. Upon arrival at the residence, the person who the call was made about was out driving around.

June 10

– At about 8:34 a.m., an assault occurred on Semanski St.

– At about 7:02 p.m., officers responded to a welfare check. The subject was lying on the side of the road. She denied assistance stating that a friend was coming to pick her up.

June 11

– At about 1:47 a.m., officers responded to a call about a vehicle that crashed into a Puget Sound Energy pole. Upon arrival, the vehicle was gone.

– At about 11:31 a.m. officer viewed a vehicle that was reported stolen. Upon contact, it was found that the owner was in the vehicle and failed to report that the vehicle was not stolen.

– At about 1:33, officers received a call about someone selling flowers in front of QFC. The subject was gone on arrival.

– At about 6:44 p.m., officers were called to assist with a subject who had fled on foot. Officers detained the subject.

June 12

– At about 9:14 a.m., a CPS referral was made. Upon arrival, officers could not make contact.

– At about 10:23 a.m., an individual had their car stolen from their property. Upon finding the vehicle in Texas, the case became a civil issue.

– At about 2:32 p.m., there was a report of a subject sitting in his car for hours. Upon contact, they were transported to the emergency room.

– At about 9:27 p.m. subject trespassed onto a property. A trespass was issued, and the subject was removed.

June 13

– At about 2:04 p.m., there was a suspicious subject hanging around the cemetery. Upon contact, the subject was transported to the hospital.

– At about 2:10 p.m., there was a report of a known subject exposing herself in the bushes. The subject was gone upon arrival.

– At about 7:35 p.m., EPD assisted with a hit and run in Auburn.

June 14

– At about 10 a.m., an individual witnessed their truck get stolen. Officers responded and attempted to look for the vehicle, was it was not found.

– At about 1:54 p.m., an individual was selling home goods door-to-door. Officers made contact.

– At about 2:01 p.m., there was a two-vehicle accident. No injuries were reported.

– At 4:11 p.m., officers responded to two parents reporting that their son was suicidal. Parents were given options.

– At about 10:44 p.m., there was a report of an assault. Upon arrival, officers arrested the suspect and booked him into jail.

June 15

– At about 7:07 a.m. Officers were alerted that there was an individual slumped over their wheel. Upon contact, the subject was ok and exiting the vehicle.

– At about 7:36 a.m., there was a report of a theft at Lee Hotel. Upon arrival, the subject was not sure if their wallet was lost or stolen. The reporting party was given a case number.

– At about 12:40 p.m., there was a subject at Grocery Outlet refusing to leave. Upon contact, the officers moved the individual along.

– At about 1:57 p.m., officers responded to a report of a threat made with a weapon during a road rage incident. Officers performed an area check, but the reported vehicle was not found.

– At about 5:16 a.m., officers responded to a car against a person hit and run. Officers responded and took a report.

– At about 9:40 p.m., officers responded to a request for extra patrol on Blake St due to a subject prowling in the area. Officers took the info and will be doing extra patrol.

– At about 9:56 p.m., officers assisted the fire department with a possible overdose.

June 16

– At about 10:02 a.m., a weapon was reported stolen from a vehicle.

– At about 1:11 p.m., there was a report of solicitors in the area. Upon arrival, they were gone.

– At approximately 4:57 p.m., a shoplift was reported at Safeway. Officers could not locate the subject, but a report was taken with a possible suspect.

June 17

– At about 3:14 p.m., there was a report of propaganda thrown into people’s yards. An officer responded, located a few, and threw them away.

– At about 8:45 p.m., Someone reported that someone tried to open their door. Officers responded and conducted an area search. No one was found.

– At about 9:23 p.m., officers responded to a call from a correctional officer stating that someone was taking a ladder to climb on top of a building. Officers responded but could not find anyone.

June 19

– At about 6:32 a.m., a shoplift occurred at Safeway. Officers performed an area check but could not find a suspect.

– At about 12:32 p.m., officers responded to a call about a vehicle driving recklessly and throwing garbage out of the sunroof. Upon contact, officers warned the driver about their driving. No trash was found in the area.

– At about 12:53 p.m., officers responded to a call about a small bag of narcotics found behind O’Reilly auto parts. The bag was picked up for destruction.

– At about 5:18 p.m., there was a death investigation.

June 20

– At about 4:20 p.m., a correctional officer confiscated drugs from an inmate, which they did not have a prescription for—taken for destruction.

June 21

– At about 1:57 p.m., there was a report of an indecent exposure. The situation did not meet the level of a crime.

– At about 3:15 p.m., the subject exposed himself to a neighbor. The subject was taken into custody.

June 22

– At about 7:06 a.m., there was a report of a vehicle prowl overnight. Nothing was taken, but the reporting party wanted to make the police aware.
