TWO CHARGED: A traffic stop at 1:32 a.m. Aug. 30 resulted in the driver arrested and booked for driving under the influence. A passenger received an infraction for having an open container of alcohol. The vehicle was impounded.
NOTHING TAKEN: A resident of Washington Street told police Aug. 30 someone had entered her locked Jeep and gone through the console. Nothing was taken and the vehicle was not damaged.
MEDICATION TAKEN: Police were told Aug. 30 both oxycodone and hydrocodone were missing from a Kimberly Avenue home. There were no suspects.
SUSPICIOUS: An officer noticed a man walking at 2:30 a.m. in the vicinity of 244th Avenue Southeast and Southeast 448th Street. The man confirmed he had been released from the Buckley jail a couple of hours earlier but was evasive with his answers.
BUSH ON FIRE: Police officers and firefighters responded at 6:15 a.m. Aug. 29 to a bush on fire in the vicinity of Warner Avenue and Winter Place. No suspects were spotted.
FIREWORKS: Three subjects were seen setting off fireworks at 12:30 a.m. Aug. 28 at Rotary Centennial Park. As officers arrived, the subjects were leaving the area.
ON THE ROOF: A teacher at Kibler Elementary School called police Aug. 28 after hearing someone walking on the roof. Officers made contact with a group of juveniles who agreed to leave the school.
KIDS FOLLOWED: Three juveniles reported Aug. 28 they had been followed by unknown subjects in a silver car who were yelling profanities. Officers provided transportation for the three.
SPEEDERS: Police received two calls Aug. 27 regarding speeding traffic on Myrtine Street. Extra police patrol was requested.
VANDALISM: A Lafromboise Street resident called police the evening of Aug. 27, reporting juveniles were vandalizing his yard and landscape lighting. The were no suspects; the resident asked for extra patrol of the area.
SHOT FIRED: Two calls were received Aug. 27 concerning a shot being fired; one call came from a Warner Avenue address, the other from Myrtine Street. Nothing else was seen or heard by officers.
