NO PROBLEMS: Police responded Dec. 13 after a citizen asked that they check on a man who had recently called a suicide hotline. Contact was made and the man said he was fine.

TRAFFIC HAZARD: Police were told Dec 13 of water over the roadway in the vicinity of Warner Avenue and Watson Street. Officers determined the problem was in King County jurisdiction at Southeast 456th Street and 276th Avenue Southeast, so the county Road Department was advised.

SHOTS HEARD: Police received three calls the morning of Dec. 12 from people who heard gunshots. Two calls came from Douglas Fir Drive and one from Alpine Place. Police found nothing out of the ordinary.

DISORDERLY: A man was seen walking along Griffin Avenue Dec. 12, carrying an open container of alcohol. He was arrested and booked for disorderly conduct.

SOLICITING: A man was reported wandering through an apartment complex the afternoon of Dec. 11, indicating he was deaf and asking for money. Police made contact and advised that he halt his soliciting.

ASSAULT: A victim told police Dec. 11 he had been assaulted by his girlfriend’s father. He declined medical assistance. The suspect was arrested and booked for fourth-degree assault.

JUVENILE ISSUE: A mother contacted police Dec. 10, asking what could be done about a few juveniles who were harassing and hitting her teenage daughter. A no-contact order had been issued through the school, but that didn’t prevent issues arising at the residence. An officer provided information about handling the matter through legal channels and advised that police should be called when any type of assault occurs.
