ASSISTANCE SOUGHT: Fire Department staff asked for police to evaluate the ability of a patient to drive after experiencing medical difficulties at a Roosevelt Avenue business June 21. After listening to the officer, the patient agreed to wait at the store for a friend to take him home.
OUTSTANDING WARRANTS: A Roosevelt Avenue resident called police June 20, reporting a man had just damaged a mailbox. The caller declined to press charges, but it was discovered the suspect was wanted on outstanding arrest warrants issued by Buckley and Bonney Lake.
VEHICLE STOLEN: A Clovercrest Street resident told police June 20 someone had stolen a vehicle the night before.
ASSAULT: Police heard June 20 of an unwanted subject – a soon-to-be-ex husband – at a Michael Avenue residence. An officer responded and wound up arresting the female half of the couple for fourth-degree assault and malicious mischief.
TWO CHARGED: Police contacted two individuals shortly before 3 a.m. June 19 in the vicinity of Griffin Avenue and Semanski Street. An adult was arrested for driving with a suspended license and the vehicle was impounded. A juvenile was arrested and booked for being a minor in possession of alcohol and released to a parent.
410 THEFTS: Police heard of two incidents the evening of June 19 in which vehicle were entered while parked along state Route 410. In each case, items were stolen.
AUTOMOBILE VANDALIZED: A Watson Street apartment manager told police June 18 a Cadillac Escalade had been broken into and vandalized during the night. The registered owner was out of town.
ALCOHOL OFFENSE: Police received a call the morning of June 18 regarding a minor who was being detained at Enumclaw High School for having alcohol in his possession. An officer stood by until a guardian arrived to pick up the student. The incident was being internally at the school.
VEHICLE PROWL: A work truck belonging to a local business was entered illegally. Property was strewn about the vehicle and lights inside the truck were damaged, but nothing was taken. The call was received the afternoon of June 18.
ACCIDENT ASSIST: Enumclaw police helped Washington State Patrol troopers and King County deputies June 18 with traffic control following an automobile accident on state Route 164.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Police arrested a man June 18 after responding to a domestic situation at a Roosevelt Avenue address. The suspect was taken into custody for fourth-degree assault and criminal trespass and his vehicle was impounded.
DRUG OFFER: A woman contacted police the evening of June 18, reporting she had been approached by someone who asked if she wanted to purchase drugs. Police located the suspect at Rotary Centennial Park and arrested him for being a minor in possession of alcohol and criminal trespass.
