Enumclaw police reports June 6-8

TWO ARRESTED: A June 8 traffic stop in the vicinity of Loraine Street and Kibler Avenue resulted in two subject booked into jail. The first was charged with driving with a suspended license and possession of drug paraphernalia. The second was charged with allowing an unauthorized person to drive.

MISSING PERSON: A citizen arrived at the police station lobby the afternoon of June 8, expressing concern about an adult daughter who could not be contacted. When her name was entered into the system it was determined she had been contacted that day by the Washington State Patrol. Eventually, the daughter sent a message to her parent, indicating everything was fine.

WARRANT ARREST: A woman wanted on Bonney Lake arrest warrants was taken into custody June 8. She was wanted for failure to appear on charges of driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license. Bail was $6,000.

MARIJUANA: Police heard an anonymous report June 8 of people standing outside a Watson Street apartment smoking marijuana. An officer responded and took one male into custody for possession of both marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

DRIVING MISHAP: Police responded to a Roosevelt Avenue address  the morning of June 7 after a pickup was driven through a fence. Officers determined alcohol was not a factor before issuing a citation for driving with a suspended license. The pickup was impounded. The damaged fence is a civil issue to be handled between the parties involved.

VEHICLE PROWL: Several items were reported missing from a vehicle that was prowled during the early-moorning hours of June 7. The incident occurred on Roosevelt Avenue.

RECKLESS: A traffic stop at 2:51 a.m. June 6 resulted in the driver being cited for reckless driving and possession of drug paraphernalia. The vehicle was impounded and the case was sent to the county prosecutor’s office. The stop was made in the vicinity of 264th Avenue Southeast and Southeast 416th Street.
