EMERGENCY ROOM: Enumclaw Regional Hospital staff called police at 12:30 a.m. Thursday, asking that an officer respond to the emergency room. There was a large number of people on the scene becoming “restless.” An officer did a walk-through and everything was OK.
DRUG OFFENSES: A traffic stop at 12:54 a.m. Thursday resulted in the driver booked on a drug charge. A second charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was soon added. The vehicle was impounded.
THEFT: Employees at a Roosevelt Avenue business told police Thursday two females left the building with approximately $150 worth of merchandise. The suspects were not located.
SUSPICIOUS: An Chinook Avenue resident told police Thursday of suspicious activity inovlving a newer-model Ford. An officer responded and took one person into custody for possession of marijuana.
MEDICAL CALL: Police assisted Thursday after dispatchers received a 911 call. The caller could not be understood, but it was determined the call came from the area of Initial Avenue and Railroad Street. A subject was transported by ambulance to Enumclaw Regional Hospital.
WELFARE CHECK: A June 2 caller asked police to check on the welfare of an individual walking near Myrtine Street. The caller believed the man might harm himself. The man was contacted and denied having such problems.
ANIMAL ABUSE: Police were told June 2 of a man at McFarland Park who appeared to be whipping a dog. Police responded and could locate neither man nor dog.
NO SERVICE: Police were asked June 2 to deliver a King County court order to an individual at a Baysinger Place address. The subject no longer lives there and police were unable to come up with another address, so the paperwork was returned to the county court system.
BURGLARY: A report of a broken window the morning of June 1 led to a burglary investigation at a Garrett Street address. There were no suspects.
TO THE HOSPITAL: Police received a report the afternoon of June 1 regarding a man with a bloody nose at the gazebo at Rotary Centennial Park. Officers responded to the man, who was intoxicated, and then called for medical aid. He was transported by ambulance to Enumclaw Regional Hospital.
NOT AUBURN: Police investigated suspicious activity June 1 at a Wells Street location. Everything was in order, but police made contact with a man known to have an outstanding arrest warrant issued by Auburn. An officer took the man to a rural location to turn him over to Auburn authorities but, as the officer arrived at the site, was informed Auburn would not be taking custody. The subject was returned to Enumclaw and released.
FAMILY MATTER: Parents notified police June 1 after finding their son in possession of marijuana. An officer spoke with the son and confiscated the marijuana, which was to be destroyed.
DISORDERLY: An intoxicated subject was reported to be in the road, attempting to direct traffic at the intersection of Roosevelt Avenue and Farman Street, at 9:35 p.m. June 1. He was booked into the Enumclaw jail for disorderly conduct.
FORGERY: Police were notified the afternoon of May 31 to a prescription forgery in progress at a Roosevelt Avenue address. A man was at the pharmacy to pick up a phoned-in prescription. Police arrived and took the man into custody on the forgery charge. He also was the subject of three arrest warrants issued by King County. He was taken to the Regional Justice Center.
THEFT: Employees of a Cole Street business told police May 31 two females had left the shop after stealing clothing and an employee’s purse. The suspects could not be located.
HOUSE ENTERED: A vacant house was entered during the early-morning hours of May 30. A sliding door and bedroom window were broken and a rear door was left open. There were no suspects.
VEHICLE PROWL: A May 30 report noted a vehicle parked on Battersby Avenue was entered the previous evening. Sunglasses, a checkbook and prescription medication were taken. There was no damage to the vehicle.
NOT WELCOME: A resident at a Highpoint Street address called police May 29, nervous about former tenants showing up, possibly to cause harm to the property or her. Officers advised the subjects what could be removed from the property and what items required landlord approval.
INTOXICATED: Officers were told May 29 of a woman leaving a business who was highly intoxicated. She was given a ride to her residence and ordered not to return to the business.
TWO CHARGED: A Semanski Street resident returned home May 29 and discovered a known suspect had entered his apartment without permission and ransacked the property. Following up at another Semanski address, police took a female into custody for criminal trespassing, possession of drug paraphernalia and being a minor in possession of alcohol. A male subject was taken into custody for being a minor in possession.
MARIJUANA: A traffic the evening of May 29 resulted in both a driver and passenger taken into custody for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The vehicle was impounded.
AMMO FOUND: Old ammunition was found May 28 in a Grand Fir Drive residence that was being cleaned out. It was turned over to police for destruction.
CITIZEN ASSIST: An elderly man wandered into the police station May 28, disoriented and unable to remember where he lives. Police transported him to his residence.
