STRESSED OUT: A female arrived in the police station lobby at 5:43 a.m. Oct. 11, upset because she lost a room key at a local hotel and a clerk would not provide a replacement. At the same time, someone from the Pierce County Crisis Clinic called Enumclaw police, reporting a female had called them, crying and describing things causing her stress. When police became aware the agencies were dealign with the same woman, she became upset and ran from the police station. She was located and transported by ambulance to Enumclaw Regional Hospital; she was later transported to another facility for further treatment. Her pit bull was taken by King County Animal Control.

WELFARE CHECK: Police were alerted just after noon Oct. 11 to a juvenile male who had been sitting on a bench at the Foothills Trail for an hour. Police checked on the youth, who had been suspended from school and was waiting to be picked up by his mother.

SUSPICIOUS: A caller told police Oct. 11 a young man in a brown Honda Accord had been patrolling the Harding Street vicinity for several days, during the time when several young girls are waiting for a school bus. The caller was going to notify the girls’ mother and call police if the vehicle was spotted again.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Officers responded to Enumclaw Regional Hospital Oct. 11 after hearing of an unruly subject. One suspect was arrested and booked for a weapons violation, disorderly conduct and for interfering with a healthcare facility.

VEHICLE LOCATED: A Pierce County deputy found a suspicious vehicle in the Sumner area the afternoon of Oct. 10. The black Honda had been stripped and its ignition was damaged. Deputies asked Enumclaw police to contact the registered owner. The owner’s son knew the vehicle was missing but had not yet completed the necessary paperwork.

NEIGHBORHOOD DISPUTE: An officer responded Oct. 10 to a Watson Street address and an incident between neighbors that involved too much noise and some pushing. Two people were eventually detained on warrants from outside agencies and both were booked for possession of drug paraphernalia.

TEEN TROUBLE: A Natalie Place parents called police Oct. 10, reporting an out-of-control daughter and asking for police assistance. An officer spoke with the teen and her mother declined to press charges despite damage to a door.

BURGLARY: A burglary at a Fell Street location was reported the morning of Oct. 9. There was damage to the property and items were taken.

DISTRESSED ANIMAL: A Link Avenue resident called police Oct. 9, reporting a raccoon in his front yard that appeared to be sick or injured. Officers arrived and followed the instructions of a wildlife agent, who could not respond to the scene.

GAS STOLEN: The driver of a black Honda Civic was seen siphoning gas from a truck at 1:30 a.m. Oct. 8. He was taken into custody and booked for third-degree theft.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT: A dog running loose started following a jogger the morning of Oct. 8 and eventually followed the jogger into the police station lobby. The dog was held so the runner could continue. The dog was licensed, an owner was notified and arrangements were made for the animal to be picked up.
