Enumclaw resident Natasha Barnhart has been awarded a Stanley and Bernice Fahlgren Scholarship in the amount of $1,373 for the 2013-14 academic year at Eastern Washington University.

At Eastern, Barnhart is a junior majoring in elementary education with a focus in reading. She is a member of the EWU Reading Council as well as the EWU Disc Golf Club.

The daughter of Greg and Christine Barnhart, she graduated with honors from Enumclaw High in 2009.
