Nichole Forbes and Chris Pierce were married Sept. 13, 2008, at Sanders Mansion in Auburn. The ceremony was officiated by Rick Pries.

The bride is the daughter of Terry and Shelley Forbes of Sumner and Dayle Shulda of Clatskanie, Ore. She is a graduate of Sumner High School and is employed at Mutual of Enumclaw.

The groom is the son of Carol and Jim Pierce of Enumclaw. He is a graduate of Enumclaw High School and is employed at Blackstone Collision.

Karen Powell and Cady Mahan were the maids of honor and bridesmaids were Nicki Dow, Carrie Veldhuizen and Emma Forbes. The best man was Eric Veldhuizen and groomsmen were Forest Miller, Brian Abbott, Mark Spears and Jeramie Forbes,

The flower girls were Madison Muxen and Kyla Hoylman and serving as ring bearer was Levi Abbott.

The couple plan to make their home in Carbonado.
