Fatal rollover accident on SR 165 near Wilkeson | East Pierce Fire and Rescue

East Pierce Fire and Rescue responded to a vehicle crash near Wilkeson in the 14700 block of state Route 165.

East Pierce Fire and Rescue responded to a vehicle crash near Wilkeson in the 14700 block of state Route 165. First tweet from East Pierce was about 8 p.m.

Report from Tacoma News Tribune is the driver was killed after being thrown from the vehicle.

These two images show different marijuana retail zoning regulations Black Diamond councilmembers could adopt and how it could affect where those retailers could operate within the city. The red area represents where retailers can operate, and the black where marijuana producers and processors could set up. The dark green are places like schools and playgrounds (mandatory 1,000 foot barrier). The light green areas are mostly open space like Lake Sawyer Park and the Black Diamond Open Space, but also playgrounds and the community center. This image demonstrates how a 100-foot buffer between retailers and anything operating in the light green areas would affect pot shops. See below for an image with a 1,000-foot barrier.
