Fennel Creek Trail public meetings | Bonney Lake

The City of Bonney Lake has been planning for the Fennel Creek Trail for many years. The trail master plan was adopted in 2007, and the first mile of trail was completed near the Willowbrook community in 2013. The City is now planning for the next 1.5 mile segment of trail that will extend from the current trail terminus to the Sumner-Buckley Highway. The proposed trail is expected to roughly parallel the Fennel Creek, though the precise location has not yet been determined.

A Park Commission meeting is scheduled for April 13, 2015 to inform the public about this segment of trail and gather public input. There will also be an open house that will include a preferred alignment for the 1.5 mile segment of the Fennel Creek Trail on May 4, 2015. In addition, the Park Commission will accept public comments in its May 11th regular meeting. All of these meetings will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the Justice & Municipal Center at 9002 Main Street. Staff and consultants will also be on hand to answer questions as well as receive public input.
