The firefighters of East Pierce Fire and Rescue will sponsor three, free Easter Egg Hunts on Saturday, April 4. The firefighters recommend arriving early. “Once we say ‘Go!’ it’s over quickly,” said East Pierce Firefighter Matt Reinke, who coordinates the Sumner event.

Sumner

The 25th annual Sumner Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the East Pierce Firefighters Local 3520, will be held at Sunset Stadium, 1707 Main Street. Children will be allowed on the field in the following age groups:

9 a.m.:  1-3 years

10 a.m.: 4-7 years

11 a.m.: 8-11 years

South Prairie

Join the East Pierce Volunteer Firefighters’ Association for the 58th annual South Prairie Easter Egg Hunt, starting at 10 a.m. at the South Prairie City Park, located at Third and Tacoma Streets.

Edgewood

The annual Edgewood Easter Egg Hunt, also sponsored by the East Pierce Firefighters Local 3520, starts at 10 a.m. at Edgemont Park, located adjacent to Edgemont Junior High School at 24th Street East and 110th Avenue East. Parking is limited.
