EMPLOYEE THEFT: Officers responded to a department store on Sept. 24 to follow up on a previous theft of a purse earlier this month. The officers who first responded to the missing purse case thought the purse was most likely lost, not stolen, but officers later learned two employees of the store had taken the purse. The purse was found in the bathroom of the store. Surveillance videos showed two employees taking the purse, but one of the employees help Loss Prevention find the purse. Both employees were fired and cited and the purse returned.
FLAT TIRE, DUI: Officers stopped a car on Sept. 26 after a a report came in about it swerving in lanes. Officers observed the car hit a cement barrier and popping a tire before pulling it over. The driver, a female, exhibited signs of driving under the influence and was eventually arrested for DUI.
