Free tax filing services is returning to Enumclaw.
According to United Way King County Tax Site Manager Norm Minarsich, Enumclaw used to host a free tax filing service pre-pandemic, but it so far hasn’t returned.
So this year, UWKC is stepping in, and is encouraging individuals who with an $80,000 income — or those filing jointly, $95,000 — to come to the Enumclaw library on Thursdays and Saturdays, from 1 to 5 p.m., from now until April 15. You don’t need to be a King County resident to use these services, so Buckley residents are free to come on down.
To file your taxes, you’ll need:
• Your spouse (if filing jointly)
• Photo ID
• Social Security Card or ITIN for each person on your return
• All income documents W-2’s, 1099, etc.; and
• Form 1095-A (if available)
It’s also recommended you have a bank account and routing number (for direct deposit) available.
Minarsich said his staff is prepared to file up to 20 returns a day.
