Visit Rainier has created a new geocaching GeoTour for the Mt. Rainier region! Discovering these 100 geocaches is a new way to experience diverse locations and terrain in and around the park and another way to celebrate 100 years of the National Park Service.
Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunt using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location.
