An officer responded the morning of Aug. 11 to a Griffin Avenue location, where a driver crashed into several mailboxes and departed.

GET HOME: Police heard of a female who was yelling at vehicles and passersby at 6:30 a.m. June 11 on Garrett Street. She was located and agreed to go home.

HIT AND RUN: An officer responded the morning of Aug. 11 to a Griffin Avenue location, where a driver crashed into several mailboxes and departed. The suspect vehicle, a full-size Dodge pickup, had body damage to the right side; additionally, a side mirror was left behind.

HOME BURGLARY: A Chinook Avenue resident contacted police the morning of Aug. 10 regarding a burglary that occurred a day earlier. Someone had removed an air conditioner and gained entry through a window. There was no damage, but jewelry, coins and paperwork were taken. There were no immediate suspects.

SELLER NOT WANTED: A Roosevelt Avenue business owner called police Aug. 9, complaining of a man selling furniture in the parking lot. After police made contact, the man gathered his items, hoping to move to another section of the large parking lot and continue selling.
