FLED THE SCENE: A driver of a pick-up truck was cited March 19 for hit-and-run, failure to yield and failing to have proof of insurance after he struck a vehicle while attempting to cross state Route 164 at 228th Street. The suspect fled the scene but was located at his nearby residence with the assistance of several witnesses.

HIT AND RUN: A vehicle, making a turn from 414th Street near Enumclaw, struck a vehicle that was traveling eastbound on state Route 164. The occupants in the vehicle that made the turn fled on foot into a wooded area and were not located. Troopers continue to investigate the March 16 incident as a hit-and-run.
