Hit and run on SR 164 | State Patrol police blotter

A vehicle, making a turn from 414th Street near Enumclaw, struck a vehicle that was traveling eastbound on state Route 164. The occupants in the vehicle that made the turn fled on foot into a wooded area and were not located. Troopers continue to investigate the March 16 incident as a hit-and-run.

FLED THE SCENE: A driver of a pick-up truck was cited March 19 for hit-and-run, failure to yield and failing to have proof of insurance after he struck a vehicle while attempting to cross state Route 164 at 228th Street. The suspect fled the scene but was located at his nearby residence with the assistance of several witnesses.
