Hit and run: On June 25, officers were dispatched for a report of an injured party after a hit and run on SR 410. Dispatch advised officers that a witness was following the vehicle. Officers were able to locate the vehicle after it parked and contacted the suspect, who said they had no memory of a hit and run. Officers at the scene of the hit and run were given a memory card that showed the hit and run. The subject was cited for hit and run and negligent driving. East Pierce Fire and Rescue treated the victim before they were transported away.
Prescription fraud: Officers were dispatched to a SR 410 pharmacy on June 25 for a prescription forgery. Officers attempted to locate the suspect, but it appears they left the store before officers arrived. On June 26, officers were again called because the suspect called the pharmacy and arrived again to pick up the medication. The suspect was arrested at the business.
