East Pierce Fire and Rescue were dispatched shortly after 10 a.m. to a house fire on 218 Avenue Court East in Prairie Ridge. The house was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived, although the occupant of the one-story building was on the lawn waiting for first responders.
