If you have plans to travel over Snoqualmie Pass Sunday morning, you may want to leave early. Starting at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, crews will close I-90 in both directions near the summit to remove three large trees along the highway.
Eastbound traffic will be stopped up to an hour, at milepost 47 near Denny Creek. Westbound traffic will be stopped for up to three hours at milepost 53 near the summit. The westbound closure is expected to be longer due to the amount of debris anticipated after the trees are removed. Drivers will still be able to access the summit of Snoqualmie Pass from the east.
This work is weather dependent and subject to change.
