Illegal left turn leads to arrest | Bonney Lake Police Blotter

Officers observed a car with expired registration on Jan 2. Before officers could activate their lights, the car made an illegal left turn into a parking lot. When the car stopped and officers pulled up to it, the female driver exited and claimed the passenger threatened to hit her and he had a warrant for his arrest.

VIOLATED COURT ORDER: Officers arrested a man on Jan. 2 for violating a court order. The male said he was retrieving some of his items from his sister’s residence, which violated his court order. The man claimed he did not know of the order. The man was booked into Fife Jail.

ILLEGAL TURN, WARRANT: Officers observed a car with expired registration on Jan 2. Before officers could activate their lights, the car made an illegal left turn into a parking lot. When the car stopped and officers pulled up to it, the female driver exited and claimed the passenger threatened to hit her and he had a warrant for his arrest. The female driver said she made the illegal turn to get the officer’s attention. Dispatch confirmed the passenger had a warrant for failing to register as a sex offender. The man was booked into Pierce County jail and the woman was issued a criminal citation for driving with a suspended license.
