JAIL FIGHT: Authorities intervened the afternoon of Aug. 16 when a fight involving two inmates broke out in the city jail. Both parties were evaluated by medical personnel and the victim declined to press charges.

VEHICLE PROWL: An Aug. 16 incident on Charwila Lane resulted in a person being arrested and charged with vehicle prowl, resisting arrest and malicious mischief.

AUTO STOLEN: A red Honda Civic was reported stolen the morning of Aug. 15. Two days later, it was located by King County Sheriff’s Office personnel. The registered owner was notified and claimed the vehicle.

LIBRARY ISSUE: A citizen stopped by the police station lobby Aug. 15, reporting that someone who frequents the public library is abusing the privilege. Officers checked on the situation and determined there was nothing criminal going on. The reporting party was advised to contact the library staff with her concerns.

CUSTODY EXCHANGED: A city officer went to Auburn Aug.  15 to meet with a Federal Way officer and take possession of a subject wanted on a warrant issued by Enumclaw Municipal Court. The subject was delivered to the Enumclaw jail and booked.
