King County Council budget leadership team presents 2014 King County Budget Nov. 12

The Budget Leadership Team—Budget Committee Chair Joe McDermott and Councilmembers Kathy Lambert, Jane Hague and Larry Phillips—will be joined by Melinda Giovengo, Executive Director of YouthCare, the organization that operates the Orion Center and other human services stakeholders to discuss funding for the Orion Center, which provides shelter, educational and counseling services for homeless youth.

The members of the Metropolitan King County Council’s 2014 Budget Leadership Team will present and comment on the final 2014 King County Budget tomorrow:

Tuesday, November 12

10:00 a.m.

Orion Center, 1828 Yale Ave

Seattle

 

The Budget Leadership Team—Budget Committee Chair Joe McDermott and Councilmembers Kathy Lambert, Jane Hague and Larry Phillips—will be joined by Melinda Giovengo, Executive Director of YouthCare, the organization that operates the Orion Center and other human services stakeholders to discuss funding for the Orion Center, which provides shelter, educational  and counseling services for homeless youth.

The funds for the Orion Center are part of the 2014 Budget sent to the Council by the Budget Leadership Team. The Budget team will also discuss the details of the 2014 County Budget, which the County Council will act on Tuesday afternoon.
