–Councilmembers will proclaim May as Arts Education Month in King County.
Councilmembers are scheduled to discuss and possibly act on:
• An ordinance authorizing the execution of an interlocal agreement with the city of Bellevue to provide road-related services on an as-requested basis (Ordinance 2014-0157).
• A motion acknowledging receipt of a plan to assess the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office’s 180 Program, including a description of how the assessment of the program’s actual impact on delinquent behaviors will be conducted, what data will be relied upon, a timetable for the assessment, and an estimate of the cost of the assessment (Substitute Motion 2014-0091.2).
Tuesday, May 6
Transportation, Economy and Environment Committee – 9:30 a.m.
Discussion only:
An ordinance adopting public transportation service reductions in September 2014, February 2015, June 2015 and September 2015 scheduled service changes (Ordinance 2014-0169).
Budget and Fiscal Management Committee – 1:30 p.m.
Committee members are scheduled to discuss and possibly recommend to the full council:
• An ordinance setting the 2015 Sewer Rate and Capacity Charge (Ordinance 2014-0168).
• A motion acknowledging receipt of a report regarding the cost of constructing and operating involuntary treatment act courtroom facilities at Harborview Hall in downtown Seattle and Fairfax Hospital in Kirkland, as well as the impact of operating a courtroom at Fairfax Hospital on court staff, patients, family members, professional witnesses and civilian witnesses (Motion 2014-0094).
