Left her purse after shoplift | Bonney Lake Police Blotter

Officers were called April 4 to a report of an escaped shoplifter. Loss prevention gave officers a purse containing the ID of the female shoplifter. Officers were advised loss prevention attempted to detain the woman but she ran out, dropping her purse.

LEFT HER PURSE: Officers were called April 4 to a report of an escaped shoplifter. Loss prevention gave officers a purse containing the ID of the female shoplifter. Officers were advised loss prevention attempted to detain the woman but she ran out, dropping her purse. An ID check revealed the woman was previously trespassed from the store. In the purse was some heroin and remnants of marijuana. The case was forwarded to the Pierce County prosecutor.

POSSIBLE ATTEMPTED LURING: Officers learned of a suspicious incident April 4 when the reporting party reported a possible luring attempt. The reporting party told officers his children were playing when a male teenager, who was with another teenager and an adult male, approached his children, telling them he had candy. Officers checked the area but did not locate the teenager or the group he was with.
