The authors who chronicled Sumner’s history will meet with the community from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29 at Sumner Pierce County Library, 1116 Fryar Ave.

Carmen Palmer and Paul Rogerson will share the histories and stories of Sumner. They will discuss their book, “Sumner,” a new volume in the award-winning local history series, Images of America.

Books will be available for purchase and signing. Light refreshments will be served at this free event sponsored by The Friends of the Sumner Library

Palmer serves as the communications director and Rogerson is the community development director for the City of Sumner.
