MAIL THEFT: The theft of mail and damage to a locking mailbox was reported the morning of Nov. 18. The incident occurred at a Loraine Street address.

MAILBOX HIT: Police were told the afternoon of Nov. 18 of a hit-and-run incident involving a mailbox on McHugh Avenue. An officer was able to locate the driver. Both parties agreed to handle the matter without police intervention.

AUTO ACCIDENT: Police were called at 540 a.m. Nov. 18 to assist firefighters and the Washington State Patrol at the scene of a one-car accident on state Route  410. The crash occurred at mile post 36. The scene was turned over to the WSP.

NOISE COMPLAINT: Police received a complaint at 1245 a.m. Nov. 17 about noise and a possible disturbance at a Roosevelt Avenue location. Police found no trouble.

ATTEMPT TO LOCATE: Police searched for a white pickup reportedly involved in a hit-and-run incident on state Route 164. The call came in at 4:25 a.m. Nov. 17. Police stopped one vehicle but determined it was not involved in the incident.

NO REPORT: A police dispatcher received a call at 11 a.m. Nov. 17 about a possible assault, but the caller hung up when asked to provide an address. There was no answer when dispatch attempted to call back. The location of the call was determined and an officer responded. All involved parties were contacted, but a female was unwilling to assist in filing a report.

OUT OF CONTROL: Police received a request at 8:19 p.m. Nov. 17 for assistance with an out-of-control juvenile. Contact was made and subjects agreed to separate for the night. The issue was found to be verbal only.

DEER HIT: Police were told at 5:40 p.m. Nov. 16 of an injured deer in the middle of state Route 410 near the bridge over the White River. A King County deputy handled the incident and advised a state wildlife agent.
