DOMESTIC SITUATION: Police received calls at 9:30 p.m. Jan. 11 regarding a disturbance in the street. Officers responded to the Roosevelt Avenue address, where they arrested a man for assaulting his girlfriend and son. He was later released upon receipt of $50,000 bond.

ASSAULT VICTIM: An assault victim arrived in the police station lobby at 3:29 a.m. Jan. 11. A suspect was located and, at 10:46 a.m., he was arrested and booked.

HANG UP: A Jan. 10 caller told police of a man driving a pickup recklessly while talking on a cell phone. Contact was made and the man was advised of the law prohibiting using his phone while driving.

CUSTODIAL ISSUE: Police responded the morning of Jan. 10 after school staff requested their presence to deal with a custodial issue. The issue was resolved.
