McDonald invites county residents to attend Council meeting in Puyallup | Pierce County

The Pierce County Council will hold its regular Tuesday meeting in Puyallup on Dec. 2. The meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. at Puyallup City Hall in the Williams Stoner Council Chambers.

The Pierce County Council will hold its regular Tuesday meeting in Puyallup on Dec. 2. The meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. at Puyallup City Hall in the Williams Stoner Council Chambers (5th floor), 333 South Meridian in Puyallup.

“I’m glad the county charter allows us to hold a number of council meetings in the towns and cities within Pierce County,” said Council Member Joyce McDonald, who represents the 2nd Council District which includes Puyallup. “Hopefully it will give the residents of Puyallup and the surrounding communities a better chance to participate in county government. I hope many people will take advantage of this opportunity, and I’m looking forward to meeting with those who attend.”

The last planned meeting of the Pierce County Council in 2014 is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 16. There are no meetings planned for the weeks of Dec. 22-26 and Dec. 29-Jan. 2, 2015. The first Council meeting in 2015 is slated for Jan. 6.
