On Sept. 26 officers made contact with a man and his wife camping behind a restaurant. The man told officers they were homeless. A records check reveled the man was reported as a missing person in a Pierce County case last month.

MISSING PERSON FOUND: On Sept. 26 officers made contact with a man and his wife camping behind a restaurant. The man told officers they were homeless. A records check reveled the man was reported as a missing person in a Pierce County case last month. The man told officers he was reported missing by his brother, who he talked to a few days prior to tell him he was fine. Dispatch notified the Law Enforcement Support Agency about the missing person records.

COUNTERFEIT: Officers were dispatched to check out a fake $20 bill that was used at a Bonney Lake business. The male who used the bill didn’t know it was fake and stayed around when officers arrived. The bill was taken for evidence.
