The Enumclaw Moose Family Center has announced plans for a public market that will kick off this weekend and operate every Saturday and Sunday through the end of August.

The Moose Family Center is at the corner of Southeast 244th Avenue and Southeast 448th Avenue, also known as Roosevelt Avenue in the city.

The center continues seeking vendors and members of the public interested in selling their new and used merchandise, arts and crafts, tools, jewelry, collectables and antiques, clothing, garden decorations, plants and produce, along with food and nonalcoholic beverages.

The selling area will be on two flat acres of lawn and 50 to 60 rental spaces have been identified. Each space is 10 feet wide and 20 feet deep and organizers are charging vendors $25 for a weekend of $200 for the season.

The posted market hours will be from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. each day, but vendors may start early and go later if they wish.

The Enumclaw Moose Family Center is a nonprofit organization and all proceeds will benefit Moose and community charities.

For information about the public market, contact Linda or A.J. Sekeres at the center after 4 p.m. They can be reached by phone at 360-825-4873 or by e-mail at lodge1543@mooseunits.org (with “weekend market” as the subject).
