Residents can learn or improve their computer skills during free classes at Pierce County libraries, including Bonney Lake and Sumner, beginning after the first of the year and running through Feb. 28.
Participants with little or no computer experience will gain basic skills in the classes for beginners. Students may also choose from classes in job searching, small business and investment, as well as e-mail, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and creating a resume or website. Additional classes will offer instruction in how to appraise antiques and collectibles or download audiobooks using online library services.
The library will offer classes in English at the Bonney Lake, Buckley and Sumner libraries.
In addition, the Sumner Pierce County Library will offer free computer classes in Spanish on job searching, resumes, e-mail, Word and computers for beginners.
