INTO CUSTODY: A city officer assisted a bail bond agent March 18 with taking a wanted subject into custody. The process was handled without incident.
CITIZEN ASSIST: Police were dispatched at 6:42 a.m. March 18 to a Johnson Street address where an infant was locked inside a running vehicle. A tow company was dispatched and the mother and child were united.
HANDGUN TAKEN: Police took a report the morning of March 18 regarding the theft of a handgun from a vehicle parked at an Olie Ann Place address. The vehicle was reported locked but there was no damage done.
DISTURBANCE: A clerk at a Monroe Avenue store advised police March 18 of two men involved in a disturbance in the lobby. Police contacted one of the men, who said the other man had shoved him through the doors. He did not wish to pursue charges, but asked that the suspect, if contacted, be advised to leave him alone. Police were unable to locat the suspect.
BIKE HEIST: Two bicycles were reported stolen from the side of a residence on Mountain Villa Drive. They were taken between March 15 and March 18.
