Pull out those lederhosen as the final plans are in place for the Enumclaw Oktoberfest.
The Enumclaw Chamber of Commerce, Buckley’s Firehouse Pub and city of Enumclaw invite the community to celebrate like the Bavarians Oct. 1 and 2 at the Enumclaw Expo Center.
Discount tickets are on sale until Sept. 30 for $8. Tickets can be purchased at the Enumclaw Chamber of Commerce, Enumclaw Parks Department, Firehouse Pub and Seeder’s Steak and Brew House in Enumclaw. Each admission ticket buys a tasting mug redeemable at the event. Admission tickets at the door will be sold for $10.
With oompah bands in the background, and brats and kraut as the dinner choice, the event will host 16 breweries, including Elk Head Brewery from Buckley. Guests are sure to find a favorite from one of the 24 options on tap. Breweries represented will be Samuel Adams, Dechutes, Harmon, Blue Moon, Iron Horse, Pyramid, Sierra Nevada, Ayinger, Leinenkugel, Urcquell, 21st Amendment, Dick’s Brewing, Full Sail, Lazy Boy, Rodenberger and Elk Head.
There is plenty to do and see at this year’s Enumclaw Oktoberfest. Stroll through the event and enjoy fall shopping with hand selected vendors on-site or meet the Pickle Wench, and for those in Oktoberfest costume, qualify for a prize.
Sample tastes are $1 and full pours are $4. Participants must be 21 years old or older to attend the event and participants must have identification to present at the door.
