‘Panther Day’ means free soda for BLHS students

Students at Bonney Lake High School are in for a treat Monday.

During the June 8 City Council meeting, Mayor Neil Johnson proclaimed June 21 as “Panther Day” in the city of Bonney Lake as a way to “extend congratulations to Bonney Lake High School students, teachers, coaches and administrator; and encourage residents and businesses to support Bonney Lake High School as an important asset of the community.”

In honor of this special day, the Bonney Lake Sonic Drive-In has agreed to provide a free medium-sized soft drink to all Bonney Lake High School students.

Students must present a valid BLHS student Associated Student Body card on Monday in order to receive a free soda.

Sonic Drive-In is located at 19855 S. Prairie Rd.
