Artists from Bonney Lake High School and Mountain View and North Tapps middle schools earned Best in Show blue ribbons at the 25th Annual Junior/Senior High School Art Show hosted by the Puyallup Fair.
The contest saw artwork submitted by students from 40 area high schools, middle schools and junior high schools.
Drawings, photographs, paintings, sculptures and mixed media projects were all considered. The 20 best in show winners received shares of $2,000 in cash prizes.
The Plateau winners were (by name, school, and submission title):

- Kayla Heitzman, Bonney Lake High School, “Bridled.”
- Magen Yetter, North Tapps Middle School, “Timesquares.”
